In an attempt to secure grant funding for wider reach, STITCHES incorporated as its own legal entity and applied for non-profit status. Even though the project is no longer housed at MAPP, the two groups are still working together on many levels.

The STITCHES Doll Project has its own website now (www.stitchesdollproject.org), where you can view the doll collection with the monographs written by their creators. "We welcome you to visit our new site; we would love your feedback", said Gerus-Darbison.
